Where a participant is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms on the participant's behalf, except where a service is expressly offered to minors under a different consent framework.
2. Scope of Services
Harbourview Community Services Limited provides community-based services intended to support local residents, families, volunteers, and community groups. These services may include, without limitation:

- Wellbeing and social inclusion activities.
We may offer services in person, online, by telephone, or through third-party platforms. Service availability may vary according to capacity, funding, venue availability, staff or volunteer availability, safeguarding requirements, public health guidance, and other operational factors.
We do not guarantee that any specific referral, outcome, placement, training result, or support need will be met. Any information we provide is intended for general support purposes and should not be treated as professional legal, medical, financial, or therapeutic advice unless expressly stated otherwise.
3. User Obligations and Responsibilities
When using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information when requested;
- Use services lawfully and respectfully, and not disrupt events, workshops, or other users;

You are responsible for ensuring that any personal property you bring to our premises or events is secure. We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings except where required by law.
If you attend our premises or activities while unwell or posing a risk to others, we may require you to leave or participate remotely where appropriate.
4. Payment Terms and Conditions
Most services provided by Harbourview Community Services Limited are offered free of charge or at subsidised rates, subject to funding and programme conditions. Where a fee applies, this will be communicated in advance through registration materials, booking pages, notices, invoices, or written confirmation.
Unless otherwise stated:
- All fees must be paid by the deadline specified at the time of booking or registration;
- Failure to pay may result in cancellation of your booking or refusal of access to the service;
- Any discounts, concessions, or waivers are granted at our discretion and may be withdrawn where eligibility changes or incorrect information is provided;
- We may require advance payment, deposits, or confirmation of attendance for certain events or workshops;
- Where a third-party payment processor is used, their terms and conditions may also apply;
- We are not responsible for bank charges, currency conversion fees, or charges imposed by your payment provider.
Invoices, where issued, are payable in euros unless otherwise agreed in writing. If a payment is reversed, declined, or disputed without reasonable cause, we reserve the right to suspend access to relevant services pending resolution.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Our cancellation and refund arrangements vary depending on the nature of the service, funding conditions, venue commitments, and third-party costs. The following general rules apply unless a specific service description states otherwise:
- You may cancel a booking by contacting us using the contact details set out below;
- Where a cancellation is received sufficiently in advance, we may offer a transfer to another date, credit, or refund at our discretion;
- Refunds are not guaranteed for missed sessions, non-attendance, late cancellation, or removal from a service due to misconduct or policy breach;
- For paid events or workshops, any non-refundable costs already incurred by us or by third parties may be deducted from any refund;
- If we cancel or substantially alter a paid service, we may offer a rescheduled place, alternative service, credit, or refund, depending on the circumstances;
- Where services are funded or provided at no charge, no refund will generally be available.
Nothing in this policy affects any mandatory consumer rights that may apply under applicable law.
6. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Harbourview Community Services Limited, its officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, and representatives shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive losses;
- Loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, or loss of data;
- Any decision made or action taken in reliance on information provided through our services;
- Any act or omission of a third party, including external venues, transport providers, payment processors, referral agencies, or digital platform providers;
- Any injury, loss, or damage caused by inaccurate information supplied by you;
- Any interruption, delay, cancellation, or unavailability arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the services shall, to the extent permitted by law, be limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim, or if no payment was made, to the minimum extent permitted by law.
